A big congratulations are in order for mister Adam Lambert who has made history this week by becoming the first openly gay male artist to garner the No. 1 spot atop the Billboard 200 album chart, with his sophomore album Trespassing !
This is a MAJOR accomplishment for the gay community because even gay musicians like Ricky Martin & Elton John have not achieved this accomplishment. Elton and Ricky both have #1 albums before they came out openly to the world not after.I personally respect Adam and I love his brand new album “Trespassing”. Some of my favorite songs from the album are “Better Than I Know Myself”, “Never Close Our Eyes”, “Naked Love”, “Underneath”, “Trespassing”, “Kickin’ In”, “Runnin”, and so many more. As a whole the album is such a MASTERPIECE.
So again, congrats Adam ! Thank you for making it easier for us gay artist to strive and survive in this music industry. Thank you for breaking that barrier that people said that we could never achieve. Your such an inspiration and I respect you for all that you doing.

”I think everybody has ups and downs. Everybody has their good days and bad days and we all have that little voice in our head — or maybe I’m just talking about myself! Maybe I have voices in my head and everybody else doesn’t, but you have qualities and tendencies that probably are a little bit masochistic. We all do things or say things to ourselves that aren’t healthy. Maybe we’re hard on our body image or maybe we’re self-sabotagers or maybe we’re doing something wrong, and then we have our good days, or up side. So I think the album shows both sides of that. I am in a happy place right now, I’m excited to be working and making music, I’m excited to be in a relationship, but I think in the past, I dug into moments that were lonely and I didn’t have a great track record when it came to dating. I wasn’t very successful. I kept going after the wrong kind of people and so I wrote about that on the album.” -Adam Lambert

“What I’m trying to give to the listener are things to inspire them and strength and pride and confidence and fun. What I love about it is I think all those songs, whether upbeat or the darker ones, reflect the human experience and what we go through as people. The back half of the album, what I’m trying to connect there is, ‘Hey, look, I go through all this shit and I can still be fierce and I can still be strong, but yes, I go through things and I have my doubts and I have my issues.’ I hope the listener can say, ‘So do I, me too.’” -Adam Lambert
"I want to thank anyone who ever told me NO. Anyone who ever dissed me or judge me. You give these songs the air to make fire. Turn it up and let the liberation burn!"
